In an effort to promote the “future of the industry,” the Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show will be inviting students from four local-area technical colleges to attend the show on Saturday afternoon.
Students from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College in Cincinnati, the University of Northwest Ohio College of Technologies, John A. Logan College in Carterville, Illinois, and Rend Lake College in Ina, Illinois, will be allowed to walk the show floor and meet with the exhibitors from noon until 3 p.m. on Saturday.
These students have a special interest in classic cars and are eager to learn about the industry’s new products and services.
This is the third year that tech students have been invited to attend the show.
In 2009, nearly 100 students attended the event. That number rose to 150 at last year’s show.
“The show’s going to be a valuable event to numerous industry professionals and we’re very proud to have the students in attendance,” said Travis Weeks, HRR magazine publisher. “They are the future workforce of our industry.”
The Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show takes place March 17-19 in at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. For more information, or to register to attend the show, go to www.hotrodshow.com
