Goodguys presents the 18th Southeastern Nationals Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event will feature over 2,000 rods, customs, classics, street machines, muscle cars and trucks through 1972 competing for awards including 2012 Truck of the Year Late Finalist, 2012 Muscle Car of the Year Finalist and 2012 Kustom of the Year Finalist. All American-made or American-powered cars and trucks are welcome to the Super Sunday Get Together for the chance to run the autocross and compete for special awards. Detroit Speed is hosting its 2011 Open House Friday in Mooresville, North Carolina. During the open house, DSE will show off its latest builds and past projects, and will also offer rod repair. The 2011 Santa Barbara Concours d’Elegance takes place Saturday and Sunday in Santa Barbara, California. The event begins Saturday following the conclusion of the Mille Miglia North America Tribute, a three-day, 1,000-mile road rally, and will feature the Worldwide Classics Automotive Show. Hamilton’s Buttahatchee River Fall Fest Motorcycle, Tractor, & Car Show 2011 takes place Saturday in Hamilton, Alabama. First-, second- and third-place trophies will be awarded in 38 classes for production cars, street rods, production trucks, modified cars, modified trucks, production Corvettes, production Camaros, production Chevelles, production Mustangs, and other modified and special-interest vehicles. The 5th Annual Shifting Gears Scavenger Hunt & Car Show takes place Saturday at Lake Wheeler Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. The event will feature an open car, truck, bike and novelty vehicle show, and awards will be presented.
