Goodguys Rod & Custom Association has announced that it will welcome late-model vehicles to the majority of its events in 2013.
The “All American Sunday” program will be featured at 15 events next year.
Last year, the association introduced “Super Sundays” in which late-model American-made and American-powered vehicles were allowed to participate on the last day of selected events.
The “All American Sunday” program was introduced after the “Super Sundays” proved to be a hit, according to Goodguys.
“The Goodguys ‘All American Sunday’ is building momentum while adding an exciting new dimension to Goodguys events nationwide,” said Goodguys President Marc Meadors in a statement releasaed by the association.
During the 2012 season, over 1,800 late-model cars participated in the “Super Sunday” program, according to Goodguys.
The only event that will be restricted to 1972-and-older vehicles will be the 27th West Coast Nationals, to be held Aug. 23-25 in Pleasanton, California.
