Goodguys has announced that it’s on the lookout for vintage military cars, trucks and Jeeps.
The association plans to use the vehicles in a special indoor display at the 23rd Autumn Get-Together, which will be held Nov. 10-11 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California.
The exhibit, which will be housed in the fairgrounds’ Young California building, will hold up to 45 vehicles, all of which will need to be selected before the event.
Goodguys is offering free admission to the event on Sunday for all active and retired servicemen and women. (Military identification will be required.)
“All of us at Goodguys salute our military servicemen and women,” said Marc Meadors, Goodguys president, in a statement released by the association. “We’re honored to host our freedom fighters for the day at the 23rd Autumn Get-Together.”
In addition to the special military vehicle display, the Autumn Get-Together will feature over 2,500 American-made and American-powered vehicles, vendors, a swap meet, Cars for Sale Corral, and a model and pedal car show.
To submit a car for consideration for the vintage military vehicle display, e-mail a photo of the vehicle to firstname.lastname@example.org with a brief description and your daytime phone number.
