Get Lift Without Sacrificing Daily-Driving Characteristics

Dec 7, 2013

West Monroe, La.-based Superlift Suspension recently released a 2.5-inch lift kit for 2007 to 2014 JK Wranglers. The lift kit offers a robust offroad appearance without affecting the Jeep’s daily driver characteristics.

“The release of the JK took the Jeep from being a weekend warrior vehicle to being an everyday vehicle for people,” said Joey Arbogast, director of marketing at Superlift. “People now use the JK as daily driver as much as they do for fun on the weekends. If you want to have a lift kit, the 2.5-inch lift kit from Superlift allows the look of the offroad beast with the bigger tires and the good stance, but with daily drivability.”

The 2.5-inch lift kit allows clearance for 33-inch tires, even during extreme offroad action. The kit’s components include replacement coil springs, specifically rated for two or four-door models, and specially valved Superide shock absorbers, according to Superlift. It also includes a sway bar link, brake relocation brackets and steering alignment correct plates.

“What really makes it significant is that you can lift your vehicle and put decent-sized tires on there without doing any interchanges that you would have to do with a larger lift,” Arbogast said. “It’s really economical combined to a full lift.”
