The Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show’s Education & Training Program will feature four seminars focusing specifically on transmission-related products and technology.
The transmission-related seminars will be presented on Thursday, March 14, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
New for 2013, the Education & Training Program seminars will also take place on Friday, March 15.
Bowler Performance Transmission will present “Technology Behind Transmission” during the third session on Thursday, from 11 a.m.- noon. The seminar will address common problems and concerns related to popular transmission and electronic controls.
During the fourth session on Thursday, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Street & Performance will also cover transmission-related topics during its seminar. Experts from the company will discuss how to install fuel injection on LS engines and transmissions, as will go over the company’s transmission products.
Powertrain Control Solutions will present its seminar, “Automatic Transmissions for Hot Rods: The Next Level,” during the fifth session on Thursday, from 2:15-3:15 p.m.
The seminar will go over the company’s latest offerings in shifters and controllers for everything from C4’s to 6L80’s.
In addition, the seminar will cover electronic overdrives and how to best utilize them.
During Session 6, TCI will present its “Automatic Transmission Technology” seminar, in which the company’s transmission experts will discuss how to use a modern automatic transmission in a classic hot rod and muscle car.
