Six chassis and suspension system suppliers will be presenting seminars Thursday, March 22 at the 2012 Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show’s Education & Training Day. Topics covered will include design, installation, handling and new products.
Fatman Fabrications will host “Hot Rod Suspension & Chassis Design” during Session 1, from 8 a.m.-9 a.m. The seminar will cover critical design features that are useful in the proper design and installation of hot rod chassis and suspension.
During Session 2, from 9:15 a.m.-10:15 a.m., Eaton Detroit Spring will host “Ask the Spring Guru.” During this seminar, experts from the company will be on hand to answer questions on leaf and coil springs.
RideTech will present “RideTech’s New Products for Suspension Improvement” during Session 3, from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. This seminar will focus on the company’s new products for the coming year and offer information on how those products will improve the ride and handling of your customers’ hot rods.
Session 4, taking place from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m., will feature Art Morrison Enterprises presenting “Chassis & Suspension Design.” The session will offer information on how to start your next project with the correct chassis and suspension to make the project ride, drive and be fun.
Detroit Speed will host “In-Depth Suspension & Handling for Your Hot Rod” during Session 6, from 3 p.m.-4 p.m. The seminar will cover in-depth details of how to make a hot rod or muscle car ride and handle well at the same time.
Session 8, running from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m., will feature Schwartz Performance presenting the seminar “Getting the Right Combination.” This technical seminar will feature demonstration of how chassis and LS engines can work together.
