Oct 3, 2012

Classic Industries has announced that it has joined automotive designer Chip Foose on the recently relaunched television series, “Overhaulin’.”

The company, which participated in the original five-season run of the show, will be featured on the show throughout the new season.

The first episode, which aired on Monday, featured the restoration of a 1965 Impala in which Classic Industries participated.

“Overhaulin’,” which follows a team of builders and designers as they take the car of an unsuspecting owner and transform it into a custom creation, will be shown on Discovery’s Velocity network during the fall season.

“‘Overhaulin” was a truly important show that pushed automotive restoration to the forefront of TV and put the muscle car hobby in front of a new audience,” said Jeff Leonard, Classic Industries’ CEO, in a statement released by the company. “We’re proud to work with Chip Foose to bring ‘Overhaulin” back to the air.”
