With spring now officially underway, it’s the perfect time to show off your best work and spread the word about your business at local car shows. Listed below are four car shows happening this weekend.
The Goodguys 28th All American Get-Together will take place this Saturday and Sunday in Pleasanton, California. The event, which is the Bay Area’s longest running rod and custom event, will feature over 3,000 American hot rods, muscle cars, classic and late- models sprawled throughout the entire acreage of the beautiful fairgrounds. An indoor show will feature top custom cars as they compete for the Goodguys West Coast Custom of the Year award. Vendor exhibits, a swap meet and cars for sale corral, a model car show and live entertainment will also be featured throughout the weekend, said Goodguys.
The Matlacha Mariner’s Seafood Fest and Car Show is taking place Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the German-American Club in Cape Coral, Florida. Event organizers expect more than 300 custom and classic cars will be vying for awards and trophies at the event, which will also feature food vendors, craft vendors, live music, 50/50 drawings and the raffle of a 2010 Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe motorcycle. The second annual Driving Toward a Cure Charity Classic Car Show is being held Saturday, March 27 at St. Wilfrid’s Episcopal Church in Huntington Beach, California. Best of Show, Best Paint and People’s Choice awards will be presented during the car show, which will also feature items raffles, a 50/50 raffle and food for purchase. This event exists to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s Disease. Holy Wild Ministries of The Little County Church in New Caney, Texas, is holding its seventh annual Muscle Car Sunday event on Sunday, March 28. Attendees can view more than 150 muscle cars and motorcycles brought in from the community that will be eligible for People’s Choice awards.
