‘Big Rig’ Ford F-250

The Mickey Thompson project “Big Rig” 2011 Ford F-250 4×4, featuring the new Classic Big Rig wheels and 38-inch Baja MTZ tires, has been designed to reflect the Built Ford Tough concept.

The project truck, chosen as a 2011 Ford Product Excellence Award winner at the SEMA Show, was built by expert truck builder Mike Duval, owner of X-Treme Toyz. He started with a 2011 F-250 6.7-liter diesel.

Participants include: MBRP (dual stack exhaust system), AFE (air intake system and Scorcher programmer), Fabtech (10-inch suspension system, traction bars, Dirt Logic shocks), Mag-Hytech (front and rear differential covers, oil and transmission pans), AMP Research (Power Steps, corner step, side steps, entry lights), LINE-X (bedliner), K-40 (CB antenna), Warn Industries (VTC compressor, auxiliary power leads), PIAA (auxiliary lighting), Transfer Flow (50-gallon replacement fuel tank), Cargo Glide (sliding cargo deck), Recon (LED rear cab, side clearance, mirror, cab lights), MM Auto Arts (paint and graphics), X-Treme Toyz (custom accessories, lighting accents), United Pacific (train horn system), Putco (billet grille with LED accent), Katzkin (custom leather interior), Kenwood (DNX7180 head unit), CW Motorsports (audio/video/navigation and backup camera), CR Laurence (power sliding rear window), Midland (40-channel CB radio), Scosche (audio/video wiring, Accumat acoustic material) and Realm speakers and factory interface.
