Auto Museums Offering Free Admission to Veterans

Automotive museums around the country are offering free admission for active and retired military in honor of Veterans Day. The museums listed below are just a few of the many businesses offering discounts for our country’s veterans.

The California Automobile Museum in Sacramento, California is offering free admission for active and retired military and veterans today. The Museum is open from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Current exhibitions include “Going Green” and “Lowriders: The Art of Low & Slow.” For more information, go to

The AACA Museum, located on Route 39 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is also offering veterans and active military service members free admission on November 11. Vehicles on display at museum include a 1942 Ford GPW Military Jeep and a 1944 Military Airborne Cushman Model 53. For more information, go to

Admission to the Bennett Classics Auto Museum will be free to all Veterans starting today through Saturday, November 13th. The Museum, which is located in Forest City, North Carolina, is open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. For more information, go to

The Lane Motor Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, is offering free admission to veterans for military active duty from November 11-15. According to its website, the Lane Motor Museum features 150 unique cars and motorcycles, including a varied collection of microcars, amphibious vehicles, military vehicles, alternative fuel vehicles and prototypes. The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is hosting Military Appreciation Month for the month of November. All those who have served in the military, as well as police and fire fighters, and their immediate family will receive free museum admission. The Museum also has several special events planned. The Wheels Through Time Museum, located in Maggie Valley, North Carolina is hosting its Annual Veterans Day Weekend Salute starting today.
