Roush Performance has announced its 2014 Mustang offerings, featuring the company’s race-inspired engineering performance and classic pony car styling.
The classic supercharged Roush Stage 3 (RS3) Mustang defines Jack Roush’s vision of a “true American muscle car,” noted a press release from Roush Performance.
The RS3 Mustang combines 575 hp and 505 foot-pounds of torque with performance handling, the responsive braking capabilities of championship-winning race cars, plus OEM reliability and comfort.
Roush Performance has also teamed with Ford Racing to offer an “Aluminator” forged engine for the RS3, an upgrade option that is available in 625- and 675-hp offerings.
Furthermore, the 2014 Roush Mustangs are equipped with an aero body kit, custom wheels and interior upgrade options, the release stated.
Also available is the Roush Stage 1 Mustang, which features a Coyote V-8, 5.0-liter base engine capable of 420 hp, with an option to add the Roush Stage 2 Mustang’s racetrack-inspired suspension.
A 2014 Roush RS V-6 Mustang featuring a standard 305-hp powertrain will be offered as well.
