2011 Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show Already Getting Great Response

Jul 29, 2010

The 2011 Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show is already shaping up to best yet, with a nearly 50 percent increase in the number of exhibitors over this time last year. In addition, 38 of the 40 manufacturer seminar spots have already been filled-only two are left before the Education Day is completely sold out.

“The fact that our nearly all of our Education Day time slots are filled is a real testament to this industry’s thirst for knowledge,” said HRR Group Publisher Travis Weeks. “The sessions are now so fine-tuned that dealers from around the country have come to know that our show is the one place they can go to get true product and technical training.”

The Education Day is an anticipated part of the HRR Trade Show, and according to HRIA Education Chairman John Menzler, has grown due to the high value receive from it.

“These seminars are not just a bunch of infomercials put on by exhibiting companies. These builders receive great technical and product training from these seminars,” Menzler said, who added that he’s not surprised at the increased interest in the seminars.

“This year the sessions have sold fast due to the increased number of builders attending them over the past few years. The quality of the attendees has also gone up. The people attending the seminars are the people who the manufacturers want to talk to, and we expect to have a waiting list of manufacturers that want to put on a session.”

“The show is in its 13th year, and we are still the only trade show that is dedicated to our industry’s builders and restorers,” added Weeks. “We are adding things each year to make the show an even better tool for our attendees and exhibitors to get together and do business.”
