The 9th annual Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion will take place next Thursday- Sunday, June 16-18 at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The three-day festival features family-friendly events including nostalgic drag races, the annual Cacklefest, a Show-N-Shine and more.
The Reunion will open on Thursday at 8 a.m. The day’s events will include the judging of the Show-N-Shine, as well as the Hot Heads Qualifying and Exhibition runs and first session of the Hot Heads Top Fuel and Funny Car Qualifiers. A reception will be held that night at the Holiday Inn Convention Center at 7 p.m.
Friday’s events will include more Hot Heads drag racing, including the Category Elimination Rounds. The final qualifying round of Top Fuel and Funny Car racing will be held at 8:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the event will start with pre-race ceremonies, chapel service and the national anthem, before getting into the final Hot Heads Top Fuel and Funny Car Eliminations. The awards presentation will be held at 6: 30 p.m., followed by a Twilight Memorial and parade. The much-anticipated Cacklefest will kick off at 8:30 p.m., followed by the Winner’s Circle awards presentation.
In addition, the Reunion will feature a swap meet and vendors’ midway, and appearances by famed vintage Fuel Altered vehicles from the 1960s.
Three-day credentials for the event are $60. One-day adult tickets will also be available at the gate for $20. Children 15 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
